Wooden bowl made from birch wood. Turned on the electric lathe using hook tools and handcarved with a gouge. Treated with linseed oil and roasted in the oven.

This bowl is  a little more sculptural and experimental, I left the top rim raw to show even more parts from the process. The process or splitting the log and preparing the blank leaves these marks. Marks I usually carve away to hide them, but this time I wanted to keep them in the final product, I really like it, but this bowl is definitly not for everyone.

Measures 18 cm across and 7 cm deep.
